O-5-151 Update Domain Password on Wyse Terminal

🎯 Purpose

Defines the process to update an Adara Home Health Active Directory domain password on a Wyse Terminal.

Users will begin to receive a Password Expiration Warning 10 days leading up to the expiration date of their current password. Refer to O-5-149 Password Expiration Warnings for details and content of this message.

🔄 Process

1. While logged into the Wyse Terminal:
   1. Locate the dropdown menu at the top of the screen

   2. Click the downward arrow to expand the menu

      

2. Select Ctrl+Alt+Del from the available options

   

3. The screen will change and show a short list of options, select Change a password from the list.

   

4. The screen will change again with fields to change your password. Fill in your current password that you are changing, then enter your new password and re-enter your new password to confirm. Then select the right pointing arrow to process the password change.

   1. If something went wrong with the password update, you will get a pop-up with what went wrong and be prompted to re-enter the passwords. If it succeeds, it will tell you the password has been changed, then select OK.
