O-11-408 Identify Unassigned Visits: Scheduling Requests Report (Staffing)
This process is a staffing/scheduling resource. If you are looking for the resource on payroll pre-batching reports, which are reviewed by the Business Manager or designee, click here to access that separate process instead.
👤 ROLE
Staffing Manager or designee
Clinical Supervisor
🎯 PURPOSE
By running this report, the Staffing Manager or designee identifies any visits which are in an unassigned status so that they can follow up and ensure that all requested visits are scheduled to the correct worker.
The Staffing Manager or designee will work closely with Clinical Supervisor(s) to ensure all visits are scheduled to the appropriate worker prior to the time the visit is intended to occur.
Best practice is to run this report daily, looking into the future by several days, to ensure all visits needing to be scheduled are captured by the report.
🔄 PROCESS
- In HCHB, navigate to Report Manager.
- Search for the Scheduling Requests Report and double-click the report name to open the criteria selection options.
- Select the following criteria:
-
Request Dates From: 01/01/2001. Always use this date to ensure all visits are captured.

-
To: Select a date several days out into the future; how far out varies on your specific situation.

-
Branches: select only your branch location.
Example -
Job Descriptions: If wanting to narrow down the workers to specific types only (e.g. HHA and HMK), select only those job descriptions. Otherwise, leave this field as All.

-
Include PRN Visits: Select No.

-
Display Report Criteria: Select Compact.

-
-
Select View/Print to run and open the report.

-
Any visits shown on the report are visits which have been ordered but not assigned to a worker, meaning that no one has been assigned to complete the visit. It is very important that all visits are assigned out to the appropriate worker.
Example - Follow up on the visits, coordinating with the Clinical Supervisor(s) and other staff as needed.
