O-6-102 Accessing Candidate Information

🎯 Purpose

These directions show how to access, view, and leave notes and updates on a candidate’s profile on Dayforce.

Instructions on the following topics are included; click a topic to navigate down to that section:


🔄 Process

đź§ľ Viewing Candidate Information/Notes

  1. In Dayforce under the Manager Role, select Recruiting.

  2. Click Open to filter by open requisitions.

  3. Click on the requisition, then the candidate you want to view.
  4. Under Application, you will see:
    1. Resume and Candidate Info (i.e. Work History).
    2. Questionnaires: Candidate Answers to Application Questions (i.e. Licensure and role specific Questions).
    3. Additional Documents: View Cover Letter, Phone Interview Notes, Interview Guides.
  5. Under Communications, you will see emails sent to candidate.
  6. Candidate Notes can be accessed through the speech bubble above candidate name on the top left.

  7. Click on speech bubble to view notes left by recruiting, hiring manager, and additional users on the requisition. License/Certificate numbers will be listed here.

đź’¬ Leaving Notes to Candidate Records

These directions show how to leave notes to a candidate’s application. The notes section will be used to communicate between recruiting, hiring managers, and additional users.

  1. Click on speech bubble top left of the screen.

  2. You will be able to see notes left by recruiting, hiring manager, and additional users.
  3. To leave a note, type it in the box and select Attach to: Candidate.
  4. Tag Recruiter, hiring manager, and additional users (@Name) and tagged users will get an email notification to view the note.


📎 Attaching Interview Guides to Candidate Application

  1. Click on candidate, then Additional Documents.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Select the Interview Guide and Click Upload.
